"If you press on the G-String, you'll turn from é minor to é major," Joseph said merrily, during guitar class.
w00000t. Pkmn Adventures 14 finally here! *sobs* I can't wait till tomorrow to go and buy it... ><
Heehee. Went for English Oral during Saturday in the morning. Went to the library with the people under Ms Ong and Mr Cheng. Was sitting down trying to rehearse my introduction when Samuel piped up, "Hey, if we're doing oral, why give us a female teacher?"
Don't ask... ><
Well, soon enough, it was my turn... I looked at a rather stern Ms Ong with apprehensiveness... and promptly felt I was going to screw up. 8-) And as usual, my prediction was correct! My second last line was supposed to go like this: "While the cars and the taxis and the lorries go by"...
First attempt: "While the buses..."
Second attempt: "While the taxis..."
Third attempt: "While the cars and the lorries..."
*dies yet again*
That's why I got such a low mark... :(
After Oral, me, Jethro and Clement slacked around in the Com Lab for a while, before going to SIM to have our (yummy) lunch. The Fish and Chips was great! *slurps* Not long, Terence, Jia Chen, David, Joseph and Yi Jun joined us. Then we slacked about again and played Dai Dee. ^^;
At about 12.30pm, we went back to school for the Councillor Track and Field Pre-event briefing (which commences tomorrow, btw). Yay! Turns out we have to bring bamboo poles and we are allowed to bang the floor with it. :)
Nothing interesting on Sunday except Tae-kwon-do... we haven't gotten our brown belts yet. ><
Neither on Monday except the 2-hour long assembly. As boring as usual. =/
Yay! Tuesday (a.k.a today) was fun. In the morning, the councillors (the CITs weren't called, but we still went anyway) were all asked to come down to the bottom of the terraces to lead the school in cheers in preperation for tomorrow. We did a rather mediocre job, but we'll see about tomorrow...
First two periods were boring though. Chinese and English... bleh. Literature is much nicer ><.
After that was History and Maths... quite fun X). And we had... Music! It was when I finally learned how to properly play the 'C' and 'D' and 'G' chord and when Joseph displayed his imaginative mind (as seen from above). >__<;; Jia Jun and Jeremy are so good at guitar... I'll never surpass them. :( At the end of Music, Joel was playing V3 (actually known as "Sonata Pathetique No.8" or something like that) on the piano. Me and Pigsie were so impressed... e__e
Weiqi was next! I still can't believe I lost to Charlton... ack! That means 2 losses in a row for me. I'll be playing with Wee Keat (a.k.a. Weeky) next week... I better win. <_<
Geography last... well, it was pretty much ok, we did a small activity on the effects of earthquakes. =]
And Chinese Term Test (Compo) after school! I spent about 45 mins on my
ying yong wen, which was infinitely better than my
zuo wen. Ahh... the latter was so lame. Nothing interesting happening at all... =/
THANKS TO NESCAFE FOR KEEPING ME AWAKE. XD;
To note: I lent my account to Pigsie as well (since he can't get the card and I can't transfer the crappy points)... so Elle, if you get your account back, don't be surprised if I start saying weird things... e___e;;
Ahh. Time to play Kingdom of Loathing. Cya! ^_^;
@Elle: I aren't the linguistic expert... you and Falk are. X) >.>;
~ V3 rules. Poké Adventures 14 rules. Elle rules. Pigsie rules. Everyone rules! ~
